For my mandala, I chose multiple designs and patterns to signify different moments in life. First, I chose the pink daisy in the middle to represent child-like love. Second, I chose a rose to symbolize having to step out of your comfort zone to grow and flourish as a rose does. Also, for me, a mandala represents the idea of having a balanced life. I chose these vibrant colors because they help make the important parts of my artwork stand out. In this art piece, I used colored pencil value shading to make my artwork look more realistic. Overall, I think my mandala displays very realistic designs that represent my journey through life.
