I'm originally from Jamaica. My family and I came to the U.S. in 2013. I'm currently in my senior year of high school and looking forward to graduation. During my time in high school, I became completely immersed in the arts. From courses in drawing, Photography, Three-Dimensional Design, and Ceramics, I've developed a well-rounded love for all types of arts; but it was in Ceramics that I really found my heart. I found that being able to work with clay was freeing and gave me endless opportunities to express myself. Clay is in a constant state of change as you progress through a project and learning how to problem solve is more fun then I could have imagined. It allows me to never feel confined to an idea, but allows my idea to change as i do.
