Keegan Brown

My name is Keegan Brown and I am currently attending the Academy for the Arts, Science, and Technology in the Advanced Art major. My focus in this program is 3D art, including fashion design and fiber arts. My artistic style includes intricately designed clothing, as well as emphasis on color and texture. I have been involved in multiple art competitions in my years at AAST, such as Art Fields Jr., Burroughs and Chapin student art competition, and the South Carolina State Fair art competition. In the Burroughs and Chapin student art competition, I won the Rising Star award, which was awarded to a student that showed great talent and potential in their artistic career. I am also a member of the National Art Honors Society. As an art major, I have been exposed to many new art mediums, such as crochet, watercolor, and quilting. I am able to experiment with all sorts of materials and grow my skill while at the academy. I am currently touring various art schools to study fashion design. I would like to work in the fashion industry in the future. While I am studying at AAST, I will be growing my sewing skills, while also making connections in the art world. In my senior year, I hope to design fashion that expresses my own personal style while also showing great detail.
