Idiosyncrasy means a type of behavior or way of thought or action peculiar to an individual. My artwork, titled Idiosyncrasy, shows parts of my daily morning routine. It starts with me half asleep just trying to wake up and moves to me brushing my hair and lastly spraying on my perfume right before I leave. During this process, I'm always playing music and taking breaks in between to feed and play with my cat. Each arm represents a different part of my morning routine, combined into one self-portrait. I like to have a good routine that I follow each morning and night. I’m very forgetful and when I have a routine it helps me remember all the important tasks I need to complete. The most interesting thing about Idiosyncrasy was working with the composition to show several arms at once and deciding how each arm would contribute to the piece.
