Art is a lens that allows us to appreciate the beauty of life, and it has helped me find wonder in both the mundane and the extraordinary. When finding inspiration for my art I turn to the world around me. I often break down the objects I observe into shapes and colors, focusing on how to replicate them on the canvas. I am fascinated by the subtle shades and undertones that come together to form a single, three-dimensional object. My favorite part of painting is capturing skin tones. I love watching the subject come to life before me, as the oranges and pinks dance on the paper to orchestrate a portrait. I also draw inspiration from my friends and family. Their support and encouragement have given me the confidence to explore new ideas and push my creative boundaries.
