For my artwork, I decided to draw something that represented the United States and how different kinds of people came together and lived together. But, all of this is fake. Growing up, I was told to be a good little American child, but now the government wants me and other people to leave. They don't want different kinds of people together, they don't want the world to be diverse. Looking at the news today, I hear ICE is already throughout the US. Before this, I thought the US liked having people that had a different culture or knew a different language, but now they are sending immigrants back. As a Hispanic girl I'm worried about this situation, I'm not just worried about me though but for my family and friends as well. I may not know much about the situation, but this drawing is my thoughts.
