My piece, "Torn," portrays the feeling that one gets when they are stuck and unsure what to do. It is almost as though different body parts want to do different things. The first thing I did was paint the mouth, nose, eyes, etc. After that I added a collage of papers from books and other drawings that I have done. Then I added colored pencil to give the effect of veins connecting each part.
