This painting shows the whimsy we have as children. I wanted it to look kind of silly and nonsensical, but also reflect who I am. My goal was to catch attention and to have fun with it. I made this around October, but I reworked it in January in order to make sure I was satisfied. My plan was to combine cartoon or child drawings with the realism of the face. I added extra sparkles in my eyes to further that effect.
