Naisang's work explores our psychological relationships with shadows through the use of self-portraiture. Inspiration is gathered from Jungian psychology, mysticism, religious symbolism, and insect mythology, which aid her in creating vibrant dreamlike paintings. She hopes that by exposing her most vulnerable self through her work, she will connect with those who share an affinity for the darker side of human nature.
