Emily Berger is a woodcarver and printmaker residing in Charlotte, NC. Her practice has evolved from making functional kitchenware such as spoons and bowls to more sculptural woodwork and woodblock or linoleum prints. She takes inspiration from nature and the animal kingdom, often carving spoons with handles shaped as antlers or bowls turned into bird nests.
