Born in Columbia, South Carolina, Jeremy Dickerson is a mono print and mixed media artist. Jeremy holds a B.A. degree in Media Arts from the University of South Carolina and works professionally in video and photography. My art is a reflection of my life experiences. From traveling to my favorite countries, to life guiding scripture verses. Through multilayer mono printing, I blend experimentation, images I have taken, and abstract compositions. Each piece carries its own mood and texture, often revealing unexpected details and layered effects. Gel printing bridges painting and printmaking, allowing for experimentation, happy accidents, and deeply personal expression. My prints often take several days to create. Each layer builds on the last -- sometimes intentionally, sometimes by accident. Most of them fail. About 90% actually. But that's the point. The beauty of mono gel printing, like life, comes from a long obedience in the same direction.
