My abstract fiber art explores resilience, hope, and compassion. Each piece begins with conversations about mental health, chronic illness, or invisible disabilities-experiences many of us carry quietly. Through fabric and thread, these emotions find shape and color. "Shared Experiences #2" captures the moment when we reveal our stories and realize we're not alone. In an instant, we feel seen and light up. Even after the exchange we still carry the synergy with us. The interplay of light and dark colors reflects our victories and challenges-the uneven edges remind us that our path through life is rarely clear-cut. The best we can do is to deliberately embrace imperfection. Selecting fabrics, sewing little pieces together, and illustrating shared experiences, allows me to assemble many voices into one bigger story while emphasizing our inner strength. Suffering from depression myself, I have become an outspoken advocate, promoting a dialog about invisible health struggles through my art.
