Caitlin Gironda

I am an artist, educator and mother of two, residing and working in the Sandhills area of North Carolina. Currently I work as a part time Art Adjunct Instructor at three of the local community colleges, teaching classes in Drawing and Art Appreciation. When I am not teaching, I am working in my art studio. Recently, my work has been in the mediums of drawing and painting, experimenting with varieties of paints, colored pencils and various papers and surfaces. My subject matter has become centered around the beauty I experience in the world around me, whether its trying to capture the brilliant hues and undulating movement of floral forms or capturing the precious, fleeting moments of childhood.
