Cheryl Rogers-Tadevich is an internationally trained Batik, Block Print, and Mixed Media artist and educator, now based in North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. Formerly from Oregon, Cheryl's artistic journey has been shaped by her years living and studying around the world, where she worked alongside traditional artists and master craftsmen.
Her work explores the interplay of light, color, and texture, often inspired by fleeting moments -- something seen, remembered, or imagined. Cheryl's creative process celebrates experimentation and the diverse beauty of the world around her, blending traditional techniques with contemporary materials and ideas.
Through her art, Cheryl seeks to honor cultural traditions while pushing the boundaries of design and process. A lifelong experimenter and educator, Cheryl continues to explore and share the endless possibilities of batik, paper, printmaking, and mixed media -- always learning as much from her students as from her teachers.
