Mana Hewitt & Jerome Meadows at TRAX Visual Art Center

“Persistence” by Mana Hewitt recognizes women and their struggle to be heard through a series of commemorative medals in recognition of their courage and perseverance when they have challenged societal perceptions and worked to improve conditions for all. Hewitt is a member of the faculty of the University of South Carolina’s School of Visual Art and Design where she serves as Undergraduate Director and teaches Jewelry-making.

“A Retrospective: Narrative and Mythology” by Jerome Meadows is a look back of his work that includes collage and sculpture. Meadows is a full time studio artist living and working in Savannah, Georgia, in the historic Ice House.
