This piece is depicting my girlfriend and I. I aimed for a good amount of detail and depth, achieved through the addition of color pencil. The background in a series of circles, with them being considered a symbol of unity and of infinity. Which shows the power and longevity of this overgrown hug. Rings can represent commitment and the promise of eternal love. The flower in this piece is the Forget me not, which symbolizes true love and respect. When you give someone these tiny blooms, it represents a promise that you will always remember them and will keep them in your thoughts. The flowers and vines wrap around us as if we’ve been hugging each other for so long nature has overgrown.
