This photograph was taken from a worm's-eye view underneath a sculpture during an Urban Photography field trip. I chose this angle to look up through the structure and capture the open space of the blue sky above it. I like how the lines of the sculpture move in different directions, creating strong patterns. Although other students photographed the same sculpture, I wanted my photo to capture something different. By focusing on the curves, intersecting lines, and the contrast between the dark metal and the bright sky, I created a unique perspective that shows how urban spaces can be viewed in creative ways.
