This sculpture comments on the massive accumulation and disposal of objects and materials by humans over a lifetime. In contrast to a typical mobile present in a crib at the beginning of human life, which contains few objects, Ultimate Lullaby is composed of close to 250 individual pieces. In the center is a strand that illustrates consumer waste over the years in addition to the impact we as humans have on the earth. At the outer corners are four brightly colored strands that are meant to symbolize the positive thinking and creative solutions that could slow and potentially solve this problem.
