Hiromi Mizugai Moneyhun is a native of Kyoto, Japan. She is a self-taught papercut artist based in Florida.
Hiromi began drawing at a young age, and with no formal art training, she has evolved a unique homegrown artistic voice that combines traditional Japanese art forms with the super-modernity that is now found in all of Japan's biggest cities.
Her pieces are consistently praised for their intricacy and their exacting standards. Weeks and often months in the making, each one is a demonstration of an astounding level of skill and a mastery of the medium.
