Born and raised in Miami, Florida, I have been attuned to bright colors and vibrant sounds my entire life. After attending Flagler College for my undergrad I decided to plant my roots long term in the beautiful historic St.Augustine area.



Since I was young I dealt with my bi-racial identity of being Cuban-American through my work. I was never Cuban enough to understand the struggle my father faced when coming to the United States, yet never white enough for my peers and family out West. This created a perplexing upbringing full of questions and opportunities to fall in love with feminist artists such as Georgia O'Keeffe, Frida Kahlo and particularly Ana Mendieta. They are nothing short of magic in my eyes.



I now paint to express the trauma response I have experienced as a woman in this world. I wish for my art to be as bewildering and difficult to digest as the experiences I have felt and witnessed as a young woman in this country.
