This piece represents the balance between good and evil, or light and dark. I feel we all have a little of both within us. The blade, measuring right at 6.75" is made from 75 pieces of alternating 15n20 and 1084 high carbon steel on opposing sides, totaling 150 layers (the light and the dark.) Between those 150 layers are two thin pieces of AEBL stainless. Each one opposing a single piece of 80CRV2 which makes up the cutting edge. The handle starts off with a hand forged S guard. Tapered and scrolled made out of 316 stainless. Followed by nickel silver and black vulcanized paper shims, with clear and black stabilized maple Burl.
