Nate Gulledge

Over the past 20 years, I have worked as a designer, photographer, and visual artist. My current commute has opened a creative journey as I have begun looking closer at my surroundings and reflecting on the rural areas I come in contact with. These spaces have become more representative of the southeastern part of the United States as industry, agricultural, and economic shifts have taken a toll on small communities. The solution has been to capture these spaces as they are and to consider their past. Through all aspects of my work, I continue to develop my creative approach to storytelling and engagement in an attempt to find unexpected possibilities. I holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Coker College and Master of Fine Arts Degree from the Maryland Institute College of Art.
