My work explores the intersection of music, language, and visual imagery, translating rhythm and emotion into layered visual form. I combine generative AI, digital block printing, and traditional materials such as paper, resin, charcoal, and acrylic to create pieces that feel both technological and human. I'm drawn to the tension between control and chance, precision and imperfection, the space where meaning emerges through error and experimentation. Influenced by graffiti and the textures of urban surfaces, my images merge digital and tactile gestures into hybrid compositions. Alongside my studio practice, I serve as Lead Faculty and Department Chair of the Art Department at Blue Ridge Community College, where I've taught for over twenty years. My teaching and research focus on integrating AI into creative learning, fostering dialogue between traditional craftsmanship and contemporary digital practice.
