ArtFields 2021 Winners Announced

Lake City, SC-The Lake City ArtFields Collective is proud to announce winners of the 9th annual ArtFields event held April 23-May 1. Each year, thousands attend the event to view artwork from Southeastern artists on display all around downtown Lake City. From renovated warehouses to boutiques and restaurants, attendees find high quality art everywhere–without the sometimes intimidating gallery attendants or entry fee. We celebrate and thank each artist who participated in the exhibition and competition this year. All artwork can be viewed online here. A jury panel of art professionals determine $50,000 Grand Prize, $25,000 Second Place, and five $2,000 Merit Awards. Votes cast during the event are tallied to award $12,500 People’s Choice 2D and 3D winners. Additionally, the ArtFields Collective and other partner art institutions select Exhibition Award winners for a solo show featuring each artist’s work.

ArtFields is a mutual celebration of art and community that includes a youth art competition, public art program, and year round gallery exhibitions. ArtFields Jr. allows student artists a time to shine during a dedication exhibition that coincides with ArtFields. Each year, the student artists prove that the future of art is very bright indeed.
